Neutral Enemies (also known as Monsters) are hostile units scattered across the maps in Eternal Return.
Description[]
There are two types of neutral enemies: Wild Animals and Androids. These are featured in both Lumia Island and Cobalt Protocol.
In Lumia Island, each of these units has its own loot table and will drop different items upon death, primarily consisting of materials with the androids also dropping armor usable in crafting along with consumables and/or special items necessary to strengthen a character's capabilities. Neutral enemies automatically level up after a certain time, becoming stronger but also granting increased credits and mastery on kill (however those in restricted areas will stop leveling up). Each of the animals have a "Mutant" variant that can randomly spawn in place of a regular animal, with higher statistics but also increased rewards.
In Cobalt Protocols, neutral enemies consist of mutated wild animals, groups of small, easy to kill drones and androids that can be killed for credits. Slaying androids will also lower the enemy team's point count.
Wild Animals[]
Wild animals spawn at the start of each game. They vary in level and strength, and this level increases as the game progresses.

Android[]
Androids are stronger than animals and drop rare and useful items, with some of them even providing additional buffs to their slayer for a limited time.
